March 18, 2026Friendly people at the counter, fuel was priced pretty fair, but there wasn’t any coffee or snacks. Three stars.

February 17, 2026The airport manager said this is the highest airport east of the Mississippi. Not only are the TO&LNDG just awesome for the view, the traffic pattern is worth flying too at least once. FBO is sitting in a trailer right now while the new one gets built. Fuel prices are very competitive.

January 7, 2025This airport is the real deal for mountain flying. The runway is superb and sits at the top of a plateau with converging winds on all sides. Use caution for wind shear and up/down drafts. Friendly people. Worth the visit for the challenge. Cheap, convenient fueling, as well.
