An outstanding FBO with Matt and his assistant Carson doing a superb job! This airport is alive and doing very well! I landed there with thunderstorms rolling in. I decided to spend the night to let the weather pass and spend the night. I discovered that all lodging in town was full due to a major softball tournament. Matt offered to let me sleep in the FBO with large couches, excellent workstation area, a quiet room with lounge chairs, and a clean bathroom--the solution turned out to be ideal.

Directly across the street from the FBO is a dining establishment connected to a lounge--District 14 and Sunflower Kitchen. They share the same cooking area and provide good breakfasts beginning at 6 AM in the morning. Midday meals and evening meals are offered on both sides. Lindsay is the proprietor and is there all the time to ensure everything is perfect. I strongly suggest giving these spots a go!

Good airport for a cross-country stop! Cordial FBO, useful personnel, and a crew car obtainable. There’s a fine breakfast/lunch place across the avenue (open until 2 PM). Distinctive occasion observing cropdusters in action! Cirrus
