June 24, 2026Stopped in for fuel both heading out to see the kids and on the return trip. Service was great, with a truly warm welcome. Nice naval aviation art collection, a crew car, and reasonably priced fuel. Once you touch down, you'll understand why they call it Hillsville-the runway has a fairly steep slope.

February 2, 2026We made a quick stop for fuel and to check the weather for our final leg, but Scott, the guy who runs the repair facility there, treated us like family. We ended up not being able to finish the trip because of the weather, and Scott hooked us up with the courtesy car so we could go find a place to stay that night. Super friendly, super nice guy. We really appreciated Scott's hospitality.
