May 4, 2025(Late comment.) I visited June 2024 on a warm 102°F day and decided to stop because of storms ahead. Quiet airport with simple self serve fuel but nobody present. The FBO/pilot lounge lacked air conditioning. I phoned the city and they were quite helpful and dispatched someone over immediately who arranged a hangar for my plane, and courtesy car for the evening. Stayed at the Western Sands Motel and it was a fine experience too. Wonderful courtesy and pleasant people here. I would return.
