I make it out to Grove Regional Airport a handful of times each year, and every visit has been great. I’ve even ended up with several lifelong friends there. As an instructor pilot, I’ve noticed the airport has solid infrastructure and good support for the travel pilots. There’s an AirB@B right on the field for pilot applicants coming in for a check ride. Lisa, the airport manager, is super kind and friendly, and she keeps the Grove airport in order. The next you need a flying destination consider flying to Grove, Ok.

Superb service, welcoming folks, charming interior with much memorabilia. Affordable fuel. Lisa, the airport manager, was very kind. There are snacks at the FBO and we ordered a pizza from Mazzio's via DoorDash. Wonderful stop!

Good FBO, pleasant interior, welcoming and polite staff members. Nice selection of complimentary snacks and beverages. 100LL self serve operating as of 07/19/2025. Signage near fueling area shows specifics on the VOR checkpoint. Fuel hose roller/retractor device out of service so you will need to manually reel it back in which is simpler with two people. Furthermore the weather reporting is not consistently precise. Sometimes it will show very low visibility even during unlimited visibility conditions.
