BEWARE! The deer rutting season in Texas is generally from November thru December, with the peak of the season often happening in mid-to-late November. Landing after sundown on October 31, 2025, two of three deer ran onto the runway (19), 30-50 feet before us, as we passed the touchdown zone. City and airport officials are aware and fixing this wildlife problem for safety.

June 2025 - HAZARD - Never been @ KGDJ till today. 100LL SServe above ground tank, ccard station & hose are situated near intersection of taxiways Alpha and Delta. Actually 2 tanks in area. Today 100LL markings on white tank were painted over and ccard station is not labeled to fuel type, yet screen offers both 100LL & Jet A. The locals know which tank & hose sells 100LL but no markings are visble while taxiing. A purchaser OR fuel delivery mistake is possible - HAZARD.
