July 28, 2022I flew in for AirVenture and caught a flat tire landing . EAA Chair of Fond du Lac Larry Wunsch assisted me changing the flat and told me I could camp there instead of Oshkosh campsite for $75 for the week. I opted to stay there after I observed I would not be able to fly into Oshkosh because of the plane traffic going in. It was a fine camping experience. The showers were tidy and the personnel were good. They had a shuttle charter bus that took you to Oshkosh. It was much simpler than flying into Oshkosh.
