Stopped here due to weather on a ferry flight. It was Friday late afternoon, ended up AOG, failed mag check. Nobody staffing the FBO. Called a cab, got dinner and a nice hotel. Ran into a fellow pilot at dinner and got Mac Air owner Larry's number. Larry and Mike were instrumental in getting us back in the air the next day, Saturday of Memorial Day weekend. Farmington is a beautiful town, but the FBO was of no assistance to us. Thanks to local pilots and Mac Air for coming to our aide!

Fun day trip with my spouse. Used the courtesy car & drove to the "Factory" restaurant for good food and then walked around downtown shops. Friendly people at FBO. Need to have courtesy car back by 3:30pm
