June 1, 2026Coming into EPM from the west takes some extra vigilance when trying to get the AWOS on 122.8. There are three other nearby airports broadcasting AWOS on 122.8 too, so you end up getting garbled, overlapping wx reports while inbound to EPM. That really gets in the way of approach planning, especially on IFR arrivals. Please join me in reporting the problem to the FAA at https://hotline.faa.gov/webform/s/ Patrick G.

April 24, 2026Victoria was really kind and helpful when we arrived on a Sunday and asked to use the courtesy car. We just needed a drivers license and a copy of an insurance card. Had dinner at Wacos in town.
