May 22, 2026We arrived at ELO and were told by the attendant that the airport had closed for the day less than an hour earlier, so fuel was no longer available. We had double checked the NOTAMs before coming in, and nothing mentioned this. The airport remarks say, "Attended 1400–2300Z‡. For attendant after hrs call 218–343–8774." Even though he was on site, he refused to fuel us. He said our only choice was to pay a $100 after-hours fee, which seemed ridiculous, so we headed to another airport for fuel.

January 22, 2026If you show up after hours for the FlyMN Passport game, the FBO crew leaves the rubber stamp on the plastic conduit at knee height, just to the left of the pilot lounge door.

September 18, 2025Flew in today. Found out there is no uber/Lift or taxis available to get into town. Spoke to the manager and he said the taxi shut down after a couple years. Flew out without getting to town.
