September 18, 2025Flew in today. Found out there is no uber/Lift or taxis available to get into town. Spoke to the manager and he said the taxi shut down after a couple years. Flew out without getting to town.

June 17, 2025Deserted when I stopped. Note the east side of the ramp looks like an FBO but is instead the park service building - the FBO and parking is on the west end.

October 10, 2023Called to confirm-- there are zero crew cars available. Apparently some of y'all aren't as proficient at driving as flying, and the FBO had one too many accidents for their liking. Truly a pity, since Ely is such a fine day-trip destination. BUT, happily Cheryl is around to save the day! Ely Ridez can be reached at 218-288-7433. I text her my FlightAware link and she was at the FBO minutes after we tied down. She drove us around all afternoon and back to the AP when we were finished! 10/10 recommend!
