Was working my way to Duluth late at night, ended up picking this facility just because it was the nearest. One of the hangar owners, Al, has a couch and a restroom in there who is more than happy to allow anybody to use. He keeps it unlocked and it was a lifesaver. The hangar is the center one right off the ramp. Thank you Al!

Love the pilot's lounge - it's like a trip to Grandma's home!

Doing the Fly Wisconsin program. Stopped for a stamp. Pilot lounge is VERY fine. If you got stuck overnight.. you’d have a safe warm place to sleep. My starter went out and I was stuck. For at least 3 hours until I got a ride back home. Called the Airport Manager to let him know why the plane would be there a few days. Before we got the plane tied down, the airport manager arrived. We tried to prop start but she would have none of that. So heading back to replace the starter. Overall what could have been a really bad situation turned out to be a blessing. I’ve made 3 new friends in the aviation community.
