July 1, 2024Had to land due to partial engine power. The runway is actually rougher than it appears from the air. Truly, the dirt road just north of the runway would be smoother and there are no power lines on it. The airport manager, Chris was called by Denver Center and met me at the plane shortly after I taxied off the runway. He was able to get me a hangar for the plane and even drove me to the nearest restaurant (The Rusty Bucket which had A/C and fine food) so I could wait for a ride. A++ for Chris!
