It's out in the sticks - but if you're planning to visit Clarksdale, and you really should, this field is about perfect. I didn't use any fuel, so I can't really add to the earlier comments. Stephon based there (at the south hangars) was very nice and helpful. But to be clear - go to the NORTH hangars - that's where the newer facility is. Crew car worked fine, but nobody was in the facility and I'm not sure how I would've gotten in since the code isn't the normal Unicom or ASOS. I'd recommend calling ahead.

Flew in 7/8/2025 in our RV7A, planning to spend the night. Very welcoming airport manager right away offered a crew car (quite old F150) at no cost. Credit card reader was INOP, but manager met us at the pump to activate. So phone ahead if you are planning after hours stop for fuel. Small but tidy FBO building. Easy 10 min ride into Clarksdale, which has a very rich blues music heritage, including the Delta Blues Museum. Recently updated Travellers hotel was good.

Forgot to mention that FBO, fuel, and parking (6 tie downs) are all at the north side ramp. South side looks like mostly crop dusting operations.
