February 17, 2026Coming into an airport I wasn't familiar with, during intense IFR training and practice apps from TFD VOR to RWY 5, was pretty rough. There were so many aircraft on the informal procedure (Stanfield Stack) that a normal pattern arrival was tough. And departure wasn't much better, you squeeze in when you can get access to the runway. See info on AFTW.org. Use caution. Kevin R.
