Thanks very much for all the comments, good, bad and indifferent. Just to add some context to a few of them - Blythe is an austere airport, which means we're literally in the middle of nowhere!! Fuel can be more expensive than at other places because our delivery fee's are higher - it comes in from LA and Phoenix. The airport also supports military parachute operations, and all electronic devices indicate that these take place here, with multiple cautions posted.

Made a stop while traveling from PHX to CMA. Fuel was pricey, but it's expensive everywhere and BLH is pretty much in the middle of nowhere, so that wasn't surprising. The fuel guy was excellent and gave me the history of the airfield, plus an explanation of all the military training happening there. Quite a bit of C17 and A400M (rare in the US) traffic, along with C130 activity apparently. The FBO had hot, fresh coffee, which was a nice touch. For anyone going through PHX toward PSP, or the other way around, BLH makes for a very viable stop.

Need fuel here after 4pm local? Good luck. Havasu is your closest after-hours option, so plan ahead. This should be in the chart supplement, since it says nothing about the self-service fuel hours.
