March 21, 2022I flew into BKS 8 to 10 times during hunting season this year and had a good experience. The personnel was very responsive to our requirements and always there on arrival. Never had any issues. KBKS and KHEB FBO are owned and managed by the same family and family members run the daily operations. Typical of a small town, the FBO is sparse but adequate— Basically 2 restrooms and a place to get a cup of coffee or bottle of water. Traffic is seasonal with lots of Jets during the season. I would suggest contacting them in advance of arrival and refueling at arrival. I would text them the day before and they tracked my flight and were standing by when I arrived.
