February 15, 2026With 54+ years of flying behind me, KAYS is still one of the friendliest airports I’ve ever come across. Adam took really good care of us when we landed our Challenger jet after closing hours. He stayed open for us. Then he let us use the airport courtesy car to get to the hotel for the night. I HIGHLY recommend this delightful destination.

November 5, 2025This is by far the most welcoming airport i landed on in many years. Had to sit down for two days due to bad VFR weather. They let me borrow a very fine crew car to get into town. September 1, 2025Absolutely love this airport! I have stopped by 3 times with all of my students and can't say enough good things! Good people and it was interesting to learn the history about the airport. They have T-shirts and stickers as well!
