October 10, 2025Landed our C-310 at KATS recently for a "comfort stop" on the way from Dallas to Phoenix. On that day their avgas was over $1.00 per gallon less than my usual stop--Carlsbad. Service (from Jack) was outstanding, crosswind runways in fine shape, and the terminal was clean and welcoming. Roswell Departure had my IFR clearance airborne making the departure a breeze. KATS is my new comfort stop!
