May 15, 2026Sat. 5/9/26-stopped in for lunch at a nearby restaurant. Kirk, the new mgr., explained that the FBO is closed on weekends, although the restrooms remain open. He happened to be there and allowed us to take the crew car for lunch. He said to leave the keys under the doormat if he was gone by the time we got back. Self-serve 100LL available. Airport is very well maintained, with the runway and taxiway in excellent shape. Mgr. was super friendly and helpful. He hopes to get weekend help soon.

June 20, 2024Not sure if its under new management because Ive only heard good things about AAS but flew in on a Tuesday afternoon and an airport worker in an airport truck told us from the parking lot we couldnt get a crew car and full service fuel and they were closing so make sure to call ahead because hours on website dont truthfully reflect service hours.

October 9, 2023Donnie thank you for going above and beyond at KAAS. The airport FBO was closed in observance of Veterans Day, Donnie came in on his day off to give us a ride from the airport.
