Flew from Nashville unfamiliar for a fuel stop and made requests for familiarity. OTW out asked for the finest frequency for approach to KMYF since FF lists several and was lectured by the FBO radio operator: I should preflight better. Never gave me the frequency. Sure it was a CFI who's never flown east of the mountains. Welcome to California. Flown from Seattle to NY to Central America and have never heard such arrogant nonsense. Flew in for overnight to see friends. Good airport and simple in and out. Quite busy for uncontrolled traffic but functions fine. Nice gas at self service. KPJS.LLC T182

Busy but thankful non-towered airport. Personnel at The Jet Center are good and kind and helpful! Crew cars available on first come first serve basis. Transient parking is free for the day and a small fee for overnight
