April 21, 2026Stopped here on a transcontinental flight in our LAKE Amphib. I was worried by the Foreflight note saying the runway pavement was in poor condition, so I called the FBO owner ahead of time. He assured me it was okay, and he was right! The runway and ramp pavement were both in great shape. Fuel station was clean, and a nice courtesy car was available for our overnight stay. Great airport-Jerry and the staff were excellent. The lake beside the airport is reportedly open to seaplane ops. GSilver Lake LA4-200T

October 7, 2025Good airport BUT arrived here at 6:30am to refuel and was greeted by a militia of black widows at the 100LL self serve fuel. Tough to see early in the morning so just be mindful! Due to our fear of spiders we did not fill up this time.
