Conchas Lake (E89)

Pulled in with plans to camp over at the park across the street. But 30+ knot winds killed that idea pretty quick. There are a lot of chains in the ramp area near the gate, but none of them looked like they had hooks on the end, so I'm not really sure how they're supposed to work. Best to bring your own ropes and chocks. I got lucky and met a friendly local who let me borrow a hangar for the aircraft and for personal shelter. No runway lights at the moment. I'll be back on a less windy day!

Airport is in fine shape for being unattended. Ramp at northwest end is big and has many tie downs (chains). Camping at lake needs a long walk but is achievable. No services on airfield.
