Very scenic area. Fine airport. No fuel or pilot lounge. Stopped here just to visit the area. Approach to airport from north is gorgeous. Situated in a valley.

Good runway, interesting terrain. In mid 2023, no walkable food choices apart from Burger King. Pedestrian gate is beside the red hangars and the phone booth (?), not secured. Wish there was a dining establishment, this would be a fine choice from Phoenix.

Flew in for a T&G and it’s a lovely area. Canyon walls can conceal the runway when coming in from the north until about 2 miles out. Not much happening at the airport. Runway is in fine condition but wind socks are aged and not a bright shade any longer. They merged with the ground, didn’t see any until my approach to rwy01 where there is a sock to the east of the numbers. Overall a neat approach and very scenic area.
