Andrews County (E11)

Excellent airport! Three runways, dependable self-service fuel, a really good pilots lounge, and friendly staff. I enjoyed the 20-minute walk into downtown to my hotel, though a courtesy car would have been useful. The steakhouse downtown is definitely worth checking out.

On a flight from AZ to central TX, we made a fuel stop here. The FBO crew were really friendly and helpful. The pilot lounge was comfortable and had everything we needed, too. Although the fuel was priced as self-service, they topped off the tanks for us - very courteous! If I was local, I'd be stopping in often!

Andrew’s Airport really came through when weather forced us into an unexpected overnight stay. Foreflight listed a snooze lounge, but unfortunately that information was wrong. Still, the airport manager was exceptionally accommodating, friendly, and professional, and kindly let us stay overnight inside the FBO. The crew cars were great too-a comfortable Sprinter van and an Excursion. The tie-downs were secure and used heavy chains. A very welcoming, well-equipped airport that I highly recommend!
