I received some flight instructions there in 1969 while being stationed at nearby Chanute AFB. Another student in my squadron had a Luscomb and also had a flight instructors rating. I think I gave him a few dollars for fuel. I wish I could remember who he was and could talk to him. I became a licensed pilot a few year later and been flying ever since then.
