January 19, 2026Good airport. No fuel on site. Tie downs are pretty limited. Jeff was very friendly and accommodating. He let us use the crew car for a trip into town. We met Anthony too, a very helpful flight instructor. I'd recommend practicing stabilized approaches with obstacles into a runway that has displaced thresholds. Fun!

October 21, 2025Good small airport, Big gracious Heart. We landed to the south taxied in, and before I shut down Jeff was offering his Jeep to us. So we had a crew car, a tie down and superb Italian dinner in Dahlonega. Better hurry Jeff is trying to sell his crew car. THANKS JEFF, a perfect wedding weekend!

September 1, 2025Picturesque small airport with welcoming and useful locals; county should give Jeff a stipend! Not as frightening as some comments suggest but observe 14 CFR § 91.103 seriously, there is only 1,549 ft. between displaced thresholds, terrain to NW-N-NE necessitates altitude until @ airport and warrants against extended 500' final; trees and marshy spots to S. Being unfamiliar, we entered pattern for 16 at crosswind for longer look. No fuel. Note some old comments say 15/33, rwy is now 16/34.
