What a fine clean airport. Troy was extremely helpful, making sure I had everything I required before he left after hours. They do have a courtesy van. There are some good camps and parks around. I will be back again.

Ekalaka gets five stars all around. We had to land about 1.5 miles short of town due to poor weather. We were offered a place to plug in our helicopter if we couldn’t get to the airport, an Army Vet stopped to say hi and gave us a ride to town where we had a good meal at the Wagon Wheel, then he took us to the airport and got us hooked up with a crew car and pilot lounge access. Everyone here is friendly and happy to see you. Grabbed a room at the Midway, and if they had been full the pilot lounge actually has two beds available! I only wish this airport had Jet Fuel so we could give them more business. Good place! - Marwood S.
