Just flew into Whiskey Creek (94E). Omar was superb—answered the phone, directed us where to park, and was quite attentive. Tie-down hooks are available but no ropes—bring your own. They can be tricky to spot since they’re embedded in the concrete/dirt. Rideshare options (Uber/Lyft) were not available when we tried. Instead, we connected with Steve Shuttle of Silver City (📞 509-680-9184). Recommend calling him ahead of time—he’s happy to arrange rides.

Called ahead and spoke to Omar. Very fine guy. This is a rural airport with no services. A medivac helo was there and they had the FBO open. The FBO is an aged building with nothing inside it, deserted with some old things laying about, but the bathroom worked. Do not count on anything being open. We scheduled a Lyft in advance and they were there on time. RW surface was ok. There are some rings on the ground to tie down but you have to have your own straps.
