What an absolutely WONDERFUL stop!! As previously mentioned, the runway is a little rough, but still in fine condition. There are no services here, & bring your own tie down ropes or straps. Then make sure to walk into town. I went here with my daughter & we both really appreciated the "small town-ness" of Mansfield. Make sure to go into the Town Bar & Grill! GOOD food, generous portion size, & very reasonable costs. But it is the warm & welcoming people that make the place! We will return!

Really good food at the town bar and grill 2 minute walk . They patched the big cracks in the runway parking areas a little rough but oh well nice park with clean bathroom too!!!

This is a fine small airfield. I have flown in several occasions in a Cessna 152 and a 172. Most recently I flew in and had morning meal at the Golden Grain Cafe. It is close nearby and pilot friendly. The runway is in fair shape and there is ample parking -- bring your own tie downs. The airfield is nice and open and simple to locate on the edge of town.
