Lovely airport. I followed Mike’s recommendation by landing on 20. I enjoyed the challenge of landing on a smaller runway. Everything seems well kept and the local pilots greeted me warmly.

Beware-- Runway 02 is a) substantially downhill b) has 1,200’ of displaced threshold due to the hilltop and tall pine trees, leaving only 2,100’+/- of runway. Locals consider it one way in on Runway 20 and depart Runway 02, regardless of winds. C) the fuel pump needs someone local to come turn it on, and it’s cash only. Be comfortable with short strips and have cash if you plan to stop there for the inexpensive fuel.
