Pulled in for lunch. The Clifton Aero crew was really friendly and helpful. They’ve got two courtesy cars, one newer Tahoe and one older Crown Vic. There are a bunch of food options in town; we ended up going to Corner Drug Cafe. Clifton is absolutely worth a fuel stop or a destination on its own!

This airport probably has some of the most lovely scenery of any near North Texas. Hidden treasure.

Clifton Aero are fantastic people. They primarily maintain Comanches but other planes were in their shop. Everyone we spoke to were very helpful and were pleased to see 2 gyros fly in. Ask for Tim or Mark. They have 2 presentable cars (ex Police) and offer good suggestions as to where to eat. Fuel was available but we did not buy any on this visit. We will be back.
