It don't really get much better than this. After we landed, the OWNER came over and asked if we needed a car or fuel, which let us get a well needed lunch. He then gave us over an hour of his precious time showing us all around his airport and taking us through his personal hanger (he ought to charge admission, it was spectacular). You don't me many people like this, and my only regret was seeing him again when we came back from lunch so I could thank him in person for the hospitality. Thank you!!

The shop on the east side of the field is good. Griggs Aircraft does major modifications, paint, and avionics. Fine, honest, fairly valued work. It is a distinct airport to land at. There is a fine pizza joint in the adjacent shopping center by the Giant Foods supermarket. About a half mile walk. Be careful taxiing in the longer grass.
