Going by the 3-year gap since the last comment, you might call this a sleepy little airport — and you'd be right — but the town still has some historical charm with an RON at the renovated HGH Griffin Hotel. The city-owned airport FBO is closed Sat/Sun, so you need some patience waiting on Uber/Lyft to the hotel and then back again. Two very easygoing but friendly locals behind the FBO counter greeted us on arrival, but they were a bit too relaxed to marshal us out to the ramp! Nice visit Red Cardinal "75C"

Good little airport! Fine runway, stiff crosswinds, good gas prices (considering), no excessive fees, helpful staff, beautiful new FBO, and a courtesy car!!! What more could you desire?
