Absolutely DO NOT SUGGEST using this facility. I drove in checking out the FBO and area for future utilization. FBO is in fair condition, nothing stood out but is apparent it lacks any serious resources. Gate is wide open, no security. I walked in to talk with the attendant at the FBO to collect details. He was too occupied chatting on his cell phone. I stood there waiting for several minutes before I walked out with all the answers I needed. I will not be utilizing this facility.

Arrived at 4:45pm on a Thursday. Was informed FBO would be closed and locked by 5pm despite other sources saying 6pm. After relocating to a picnic table we were unable to summon an Uber or Lyft. Local taxi services charged $50 for the 6 mile drive into town. Jet A truck looked to be older than the golden age of aviation. No avgas in sight. DHS office across from the FBO looked abandoned. Runway was in fine enough condition for vast majority or GA planes. Limited pebbles and cracks.

Terrible runway, airport looks abandoned.
