Landed May 30 2025 Warm afternoon, quite rough and unstable on approach to 27. Runway in generally fine shape, but many fine cracks with 2 inch weeds for the full length. Campsite just west of the hangars has water and electricity in the summer months. It is a long way into town by road, there is no simple path down the steep hillside straight above town. Enjoyed the Mazatlan restaurant.

Landed on 5/12/2024 in my TB20. Suggest landing on Rwy 27, as it slopes up and departing in the opposite direction.

Good spot to camp and bring your mountain bikes. Local guide services provide mountain bike shuttles in this area. As of May 2023 there was no water or power available at the airport camping area, but there were picnic tables, a fire ring, and a porta potty near the hangars. Bring your own tie downs.
