Stopped here last week in my Archer. Fine airport, inexpensive fuel and the airport managers were good. Loaned me the Dodge Challenger to drive 1 mile into town for lunch. Monical's Pizza (not the chain) was fantastic.

Jim Butler is a very good ambassador for the town of Kentland. I stopped in for fuel and thought I would keep going. It became apparent that I should rest before continuing eastbound. Jim clinched the decision when he pointed out that the hotel roof was visible from the airport ramp and told me about a fine restaurant not far. To top it off there is a good loaner car that I was invited to take advantage of. This is not just a good fuel stop, but a nice place for a layover.

Wonderful spot for fuel or an overnight. We called ahead and the managers came back after hours to open the hangar and supply a courtesy car to the hotel. "The Good Table" restaurant was friendly, inviting, and a fine meal for both dinner and breakfast.
