Runway’s in solid shape, wide, long, & smooth, but the grass is pretty tall right now (~10”). If you need supplies or just don’t want to tent camp, Rimrock Lake Resort is 8.8 miles away (~12 min drive) on the far side of the lake. Give them a call 509-672-2460 & they’ll come pick you up at the strip. They’ve got a well-stocked convenience store, 92 ethanol-free fuel, cabins to rent, Wi-Fi, & pretty much anything you forgot for camping. Good backup if the weather turns bad or you want a real bed for the night.

Scenic airport nestled beside a mountain lake. Runway 02 has a fine approach over the lake and slopes upward. Sparse grass was about 7" tall and surface smooth. Good camping beside aircraft in east tie down area. Walkable to hiking trails. AT&T two bars at tie downs. No water. Toilets disgusting. No walkable stores or eateries. Carefully check NOTAM for closures.
