July 1, 2025FBO has one crew car with a two hour strict limit. A car service called "DC personal drivers" had a business card at the shop, and they arranged a shuttle from the airport to the cherries for 45 each way, # 906-282-1902

June 29, 2025Call Mike at 847.361.4852 for rides in the peninsula. There's no Uber. Solid taxi service.

June 11, 2025Camped here with my family in July at the airport. It was so much enjoyment! You can tie down the plane next to the campsite. Around the second week of July, you can pick tart cherries at Hyline Orchards. Lautenbach's Orchard open a week later than Hyline. Flying in, camping and using the crew car to pick cherries makes for a memorable family trip!
