January 1, 2026New Pilot Lounge available at 38U. Recently finished and presently open. Includes two quite fine restrooms, a drinking fountain, and a big common room with kitchenette. Area is presently vacant of furniture but will hopefully be supplied shortly. Door code is the UNICOM frequency. Main gate utilizes the same code with a # added after the frequency. If your vehicle is pulled too far ahead, it can interfere with the keypad signal to the gate and it might not open; moving back a bit usually fixes it.

August 24, 2025Self serve has a credit card reader which worked fine and was simple to utilize. Runway is in good condition. Absolutely lovely scenery around!
