Quiet airport with inexpensive fuel. The pilot lounge is very small but anticipated for an airport this size. The A/C worked fine and had many couches inside. Would stop here again

Flew in for the 8th Annual Fly-In & Whole Hog Roast to benefit young flyers hosted by the Barn Stormer’s Museum. Next year I’ll do the overnite camping, but the museum’s planes, visiting aircraft, Old Tyme vintage cars were superb. The pulled pork plate w/ fixings, drinks and fresh made ice cream just made for a fine day trip.

Texas Barnstomers Museum is situated on field. Captain Jim Baker has a superb program for kids. Antique planes. Staggerwing Country. Food in town is over the top. Pastry Cafe that is killer. Spent 2 days flying with Jim in the D17S. Good people. Fig Newton T67 Ft.Worth,Tx.
