March 10, 2024Good fuel stop. Everything I needed was working including the lavatory.

September 17, 2023Internet showed current fuel price update for 2F1. I called airport manager # several times (business day/hours). Left messages to call back just to confirm pumps good & fuel obtainable. Upon landing, pump wasn't functioning. No AC at the "FBO" (106 deg), no one ever answered or returned any calls. Called Hemphill just north. They answered phone to confirm fuel obtainable. Clean pilot break building with AC. 2F1 appears abandoned despite fuel availability report. Will not plan a stop at 2F1 again.

February 8, 2022This airport is one of my preferred cross country stops. It consistently has more affordable fuel costs, but the finest aspect is the ease of stopping here for fuel. Other airports I am always looking for the self serve pumps, this airport has them situated right in the center of the ramp. I can stop, pump 60 gallons of gas, and be airborne again in under 10 minutes. Each time I visit here it appears the city has made some upgrades to the airport, from fresh painting to new fuel hoses. Thanks for the cold waters and snacks every time; my passengers enjoy it. 2F1 you folks are GREAT!!!
