Fine small strip. Landing Rwy 20 is somewhat difficult due to tall trees on the approach end. Standard approach puts you in a touchdown right before the dirt road that crosses the field which makes for a rough rollout. The whole runway has pockets and areas of sand and the grass itself is quite thin in some spots. Good place to practice short and soft field landings in a C172.

Flew in here last Summer (2021) and found the grass field to be dry and smooth. There are small hills to the north and east but in no way interferes with landing to the south in a left pattern. No facilities but ample parking on the grass. Owner was friendly on the phone and I saw no other activity on the field. Close to Star Lake.
