The friendliest airport I've ever visited! Courtesy car delivered to the plane -- "...keep it as long as you need it!". Tied down for a total of four nights, no fees. On the day of my return trip, the two owners were repainting the center stripes. When my sister's family arrived and said they were waiting for me to land, the owners quickly shut down the painting operation so I wouldn't be inconvenienced. Rnwy 25, LH pattern, Iiked a tight arc base-to-final & relatively steep approach.

Stopped at this wonderful small airport in the Huntington, West Virginia area for a quick fuel stop. Wish I could’ve stayed longer! Fuel price was very fair. The airport is set in an idyllic valley not far from the Ohio river. Other commenters have correctly stated that an angling final to runway 25 is necessary… but in my opinion not overly hard. The Airpark is attended by a wonderful couple who live on the property. Lynn and Bill are very cordial and you can see by the condition of the facilities that they take great pride in Ona Airpark.

Good small airport. Runway lights function well. Fuel works but takes a couple tries of your credit card before the authorization works so keep trying a few times before giving up.
