Beaumont Hotel (07S)

Runway is in really good condition, and the restaurant food is excellent! The comments on the runway slope, landing long on 36, taxing, etc. are all right on. There is a brown grass circle killed off on 36 that works as a handy aiming point. Cones mark the runway clearly. When taxiing in to park, turn left at the water tower for the parking area. Don't continue on to the following intersection. The drop between the road and parking gets steeper there, and the signs start restricting your room for a 360. Check it on Google Earth.

The southern 200’, approach end of runway 36, has a 15% grade, and is truly more of an entrance ramp for the flatter part to the south. As mentioned in earlier remarks, avoid trying to “land on the numbers” on 36! You can remain at the hotel during the week by making advance phone reservations. Online system does not seem to be functioning. Charming hotel so quite worth the visit. Interesting background to this town.

Runway is in very good conditions after mowing. Called the hotel and got an update before visiting. The taxiing was charming with a stop sign. We checked the place out for future stays. Maybe the dinner services will come back soon. Check the hotels website and read upon the history, of which the place is full! Recommended.
